Welcome to the Real World Beyond the Matrix

Greetings and welcome to the official companion site to the book Beyond the Matrix: Revolutions and Revelations. This is a site for Matrix fans and people who really enjoy the movies and wonder about the larger implications about living in the real world. The Matrix Trilogy raises a lot of questions about philosophy, religion, and life as we know it. This site is the place to explore those questions.

To get the most enjoyment out of the site, you’ll need to explore the book. The book takes a look at the cyber-metaphor of the Wachowski Brothers and explores some of the real world implications for the moviegoers. If you are familiar with the book, you will enjoy the discussion threads, study guides, and chapters summaries. The study guides consist of six topics that are thematically tied to each chapter. The topics can be assigned all together or in part, depending on the curriculum. They could support a weekly or monthly book club, or be divided and used as assignments in a class that met once, twice, or three times a week. They would be ideal for a Philosophy 101 class that seeks to introduce major philosophical themes while presenting them in a way that is personally engaging.

But there are also collected links that will intrigue all fans of the movie trilogy. Like the movies themselves, the links lead to philosophy, religion, and popular and all fans can enjoy them, even without reading Beyond the Matrix. There are also related articles by the book’s author, and they will be posted as they become available.

It’s also possible to e-mail the author, to meet other Matrix fans, and explore a new dimension of the Matrix phenomenon.

Feel free to explore. This website is a door to the larger world of ideas about living beyond the Matrix. Only you can choose to walk through.
